Theo Allis immigrated from Amsterdam to New Zealand. He married Hilda Scurr, and they lived in Raglan with their three children – David Allis (who married Margaret Watson), Gary Allis (who married Pam) and Robin Allis (who married Catherine).
Scurr side of the family:
Hilda Scurr was born in Spennymoor, Durham. Her parents were John Reuben Scurr and Elena Annie Scurr (nee Foster). She immigrated to New Zealand where she married Theo Allis.
Watson side of the family:
John Watson married Carol Pearson and they had three children – Charles, Bob and Margaret (who married David Allis).
